<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point searching device capable of suppressing an increase in memory capacity for developing a namelist, and preventing deterioration in responsiveness by performing search at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: Each "division unit" of a facility name data table comprises an "independent division unit" which stores a combination of two rows of a set of the Japanese syllabary forms and "integrated division unit", which stores combinations of two rows of a plurality of the Japanese syllabaries obtained by integrating a plurality of "independent division units". "Reading" stores the reading of a facility name including a keyword subjected to prefix search of Hiragana (a Japanese syllabary form) name stored in each "division unit". A "facility name" stores a facility name representing a destination to be a search target in association with the reading of the facility name. Then, a CPU 41 sequentially reads, from the facility name data table, "readings" of all the facility names in "division units", Hiragana name subjected to prefix search of a search word of which is stored to perform full-text search. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
