PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection apparatus that allows efficient installation of a liquid ejection unit and a maintenance unit onto its main body with excellent positioning accuracy. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an inkjet printer 1. The inkjet printer 1 includes an inkjet unit 15 comprising an inkjet head 14 ejecting a liquid, a maintenance unit 18 carrying out the maintenance of the inkjet head 14, a main body 10 that carries an object whereon a liquid is to be ejected, wherein the maintenance unit 18 comprises a connecting member 320 for connecting a maintenance mechanism and the inkjet unit 15 with the respective positions thereof in a fixed state, the inkjet unit 15 and the maintenance unit 18 are detachably attached to the main body 10.
