<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily construct a high-precision predictive/diagnostic model on the basis of proper learning data. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for constructing a model that performs prediction and diagnosis using a computer includes: a database 200 accumulating a data set consisting of N items (N is a positive integer) of input data and M items (M is a positive integer) of output data as learning data for model construction; a learning data creation means 301 creating first learning data while deleting abnormal data improper for learning from the data set; a model construction means 302 constructing a partial least squares model; a learning data creation means 301 predicting the learning data or diagnosing whether the learning data is normal or not, using the model, and creating second learning data by deleting abnormal data such that the numerical index of the result of the prediction and/or diagnosis deviates from criteria; and a model construction means 302 re-constructing the model using the learning data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
