PHOSPHORUS-CONTAINING DIAMINE COMPOUND AND FLAME-RETARDANT POLYIMIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide that exhibits excellent flame-retardant characteristics and a polyamic acid being its precursor. SOLUTION: The polyamic acid being a precursor is obtained by polymerizing a phosphorus-containing diamine represented by formula (I) (wherein hydrogen atoms on benzene rings each may be independently substituted with 1-6C alkyl or alkoxy) with a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride. Further the polyamic acid is imidized through dehydration to synthesize a polyimide exhibiting excellent flame-retardant characteristics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
