If a common search area overlaps with a search area specific to a mobile station apparatus and further if the number of bits of a DCI format transmitted in the common search area is equal to the number of bits of a DCI format transmitted in the search area specific to the mobile station apparatus, then the mobile station apparatus discriminates between the types of the DCI formats. If the common search area overlaps with the search area specific to the mobile station apparatus and further if the number of bits of a DCI format placed in the common search area is equal to the number of bits of a DCI format placed in the search area specific to the mobile station apparatus, then a base station apparatus (3) does not place, on the area concerned, the DCI format placed in the search area specific to the mobile station apparatus, while the mobile station apparatus (1) blind-decodes, in the area concerned, only the DCI format placed in the common search area. |
