<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of generating a degradation signal of a gas sensor generating a degradation signal in a pseudo manner, which is output in a condition in which a gas sensor for detecting the air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas based on the concentration of specific components in the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine is degraded, and moreover outputting the degradation signal in a delayed condition. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage value Vin of a reference signal acquired from a reference sensor for every ms is stored by an amount of 600 ms in the past. When the reference signal is started to change according to the change of the air-fuel ratio toward a rich side, the voltage value Vin of the reference signal stored before the number of times of acquisition corresponding to a preset Rich Delay Time is read, and output as a voltage value Vout of the present degradation signal. Similarly, when the air-fuel ratio is changed toward a lean side, the voltage value Vin of the reference signal stored before the number of times of acquisition corresponding to Lean Delay Time is output as the voltage value Vout of the present degradation signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
