PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high breakdown voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitor capable of being used at a high temperature in which the length of an outer terminal of a rivet protruding into a case is shortened, and a capacity can be increased by that amount.SOLUTION: The electrolytic capacitor has: lead-out lead foil pulled out of a capacitor element, a sealing plate for sealing the case for housing the capacitor element, and the outer terminal of the rivet which penetrates the sealing plate for connecting the lead-out lead foil by caulking via a caulking receiving washer. In the electrolytic capacitor, a contact portion between the caulking receiving washer and the outer terminal of the rivet is tapered so as to be narrowed toward the sealing plate. |
