摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge apparatus capable of discharging liquid droplets stably with high accuracy irrespective of the kind of liquid.SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharge apparatus includes a chamber 3, a piezoelectric crystal element (piezoelectric element 2) which expands and contracts with the application of a control voltage va, resulting in changing the volume inside the chamber 3, and pressurizes or decompresses the liquid L filled in the chamber 3, a nozzle for discharging the liquid L pressurized by the piezoelectric element 2 according to the change of the volume inside the chamber 3 as liquid droplets, and a piezoelectric crystal element control means (voltage waveform formation section 1) for applying the control voltage va to the piezoelectric element 2. By the piezoelectric crystal element control means (voltage waveform formation section 1), the peak voltage value of the voltage waveform of the control voltage va is stored based on the relationship between the control voltage va to the piezoelectric element 2 and the expansion-deformation amount of the piezoelectric element 2 which is a discharge amount of liquid L, and the peak voltage value is corrected according to the kind of liquid L and it is applied to the piezoelectric element 2 as a corrected peak voltage value.
