PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source device that approximates the chromaticity of light emitted from one end side to the chromaticity of light emitted from the other end side in the lengthwise direction of a light guide body.SOLUTION: The linear light source device includes: a rod-shaped light guide body; a light source comprising a light-emitting diode in opposition to one end surface of the light guide body, wherein the light-emitting diode is sealed with a sealing body; and a reflecting body which has a reflecting surface the diameter of which increases as it goes from the light-emitting diode toward the light guide body in a section along the lengthwise direction of the light guide body and arranged so that the reflecting surface surrounds the circumferential edge of the light source. A filter of which the light transmittance of the light in a long wavelength region, among lights coming from the light source, is lower than the light transmittance in a short wavelength region is provided between the light source and the reflecting surface or the reflecting surface is configured by a colored resin of which the reflectance of light in the long wavelength region, among the lights coming from the light source, is lower than the reflectance of light in the short wavelength region. |
