PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device restraining returning movement immediately after closing of a toilet seat cover or toilet seat.SOLUTION: The toilet seat device includes the toilet seat or seat cover, a rotary shaft connected to the seat or cover and rotating integrally with the seat or cover, a drive part for opening-driving the seat or cover via the shaft, a stopper physically regulating an opening-end position of the seat or cover, a detecting means for detecting a touch of the seat or cover to the stopper at opening-driving the seat or cover, and a control part which stops the drive part from driving the seat or cover and makes the drive part control restraints of the returning movement that the seat or cover is pushed to return in its closing direction from the stopper when the touch of the seat or cover to the stopper is detected. |
