PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator system wherein the size and cost of the equipment can be reduced and torque value detection accuracy is enhanced.SOLUTION: The actuator system includes a controller 54 periodically applies an applied pulse to a magnetostrictive torque sensor 80, calculates a torque value from a detection value detected by the magnetostrictive torque sensor 80 at a sampling timing when a certain time has passed after the application, and PWM-controls a driver 52 that drives a brushless motor 50. The controller 54 further sets the certain time to be shorter than 1/2 of the period of the PWM pulse applied to the driver 52, sets the applied pulse so that three periods of the PWM pulse contain two sampling timing, and determines a sampling timing used for torque value calculation among the two sampling timing based on the duty ratio of the PWM pulse. |
