PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cyclic phosphatidic acid which is capable of removing lysophosphatidic acid becoming an impurity, in a high degree.SOLUTION: The method for producing the cyclic phosphatidic acid by the action of phospholipase D on a lyso-phospholipid, includes the action of a phosphatidic acid phosphatase on the lysophosphatidic acid produced by the action of the phospholipase D on the lyso-phospholipid.
