PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for flexibly sectioning and managing a region regardless of capacity of a storage device, and effectively using the region by efficient technique when allocating a file to a section.SOLUTION: When representing a size of a section of the storage device by the sum of powers of 2 different from each other and setting a region of a size of each power of 2 constituting the sum as a main section, a section management device sections each main section into areas each having a size obtained by sequentially dividing each main section by 1/2, and generates an allocation table storing allocation information indicating an allocation state of the file of each of the areas of the respective sizes including the main section. The section management device manages the sections based on the allocation information stored in the allocation table. |
