<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load driving device that can reduce a power loss without erroneously recognizing an optimal value for a dead time of a switching power supply even when the device is influenced by a disturbance or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A load driving device 1 comprises a switching power supply circuit 2 including two switching elements Q1 and Q2 connected in series with a direct voltage source Vcc, a switch control circuit 3 that supplies a driving signal that causes the switching elements Q1 and Q2 to turn on or off, and a dead time setting circuit 6 that sets a dead time where the two switching elements Q1 and Q2 are turned off. The dead time setting circuit 6 includes an optimal value searching unit 9 that searches and determines an optimal value of the dead time, and a disturbance correction operation unit 10 that carries out an operation for eliminating an influence of the disturbance from the search and determination of the optimal value of the dead time when the disturbance occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
