<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger for an internal combustion engine solving turbo-lag and capable of performing supercharging function even at engine starting. <P>SOLUTION: The supercharger for the internal combustion engine includes a supercharging air passage 3 connected to an intake passage 1a; a supercharging air tank 5 for storing a supercharging air of a predetermined pressure and feeding out the supercharging air to the supercharging air passage 3; a supercharging valve 4 provided on the supercharging air passage 3 and opened/closed according to the engine operation state; and a reverse flow prevention valve 10 provided on the intake passage 1a in an upstream than a portion connected with the supercharging air passage 3 and preventing the reverse flow of the intake air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
