Disclosed is an indole compound of formula (I) where the substituents are as disclosed in the description. Examples of compounds of formula (I) include: N-[6-(1-oxypyrrolidin-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-5-fluoro-1-(3-fluorobenzyl)-1H-indole-2-carboxamide; N-[2-(Pyrrolidin-1-yl)pyrimidin-5-yl]-5-fluoro-1-(3-fluorobenzyl)-1H-indole-2-carboxamide and N-[6-(3-Hydroxyazetidin-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-5-fluoro-1-(3-fluorobenzyl)-1H-indole-2-carboxamide. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition or medicament comprising a compound of formula (I); the process for making a compound of formula (I) and the use of a compound of formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for treating pain, inflammation, urological disorders, gynaecological disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, respiratory disorders, psoriasis, pruritus, irritation of the skin, eyes or mucous membranes, herpes or shingles or to treat depression or diabetes.
