<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the crushing efficiency of a vertical mill by way of efficiently crushing solid matter such as biomass. <P>SOLUTION: A crushing table 13 is rotatably supported by a rotary shaft disposed in the vertical direction in a housing 11. A rotatable crushing roller 18 linked to the rotation of the crushing table 13 is disposed to face the upper side of the crushing table 13, and is driven/rotated by a roller driver 19, which is controlled by a controller 41 to make the rotation rate of the crushing roller 18 adjustable so as to make the peripheral speed thereof different from that of the crushing table 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
