<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem in a monitoring video recording system that a RAID device is used in preparation for a failure of the device but recording cannot be performed in the failure such as in a MPU, a host system and a power supply, and when the same video data is recorded in preparation of at least two RAID devices, use efficiency of the recording capacity is poor since the same data is recorded at a plurality of recording destinations. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring video recording system includes a monitoring camera and a monitoring video recording device which are connected to a network. The monitoring video recording device includes; image reception means for receiving the monitoring video data; video division means for dividing the received video data into a fixed-length; parity arithmetic means for performing the parity arithmetic operation between the pieces of the divided video data; divided video data selection means for selecting the divided video data and a parity arithmetic result in a predetermined order so as not to be overlapped in a state of the divided video data; and recording means for recording the selected divided video data and the parity arithmetic result in a recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
