<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave oscillator where a desired minute difference frequency can be obtained in a design stage and resonance frequencies of two surface acoustic wave elements are made close to the same degree. <P>SOLUTION: Alternate finger widths L1 and L2 of respective electrodes in first and second SAW resonators 2 and 4 are made different while pitches p1 and p2 of the respective electrodes constituting interdigital electrodes 12 and 13 and reflectors 14 and 15 in the first and second SAW resonators 2 and 4 are made equal. An oscillation frequency of a first oscillation circuit having the first SAW resonator 2 and that of a second oscillation circuit having the second SAW resonator 4 are made different by making the first and second SAW resonators 2 and 4 in such a structure, and the difference frequency being a difference of both the oscillation frequencies can be set to the minute frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
