<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit board in which characteristic impedance in three modes can be designed to minimize deviation from relations Zdiff=2Zo and Zcomm=Zo/2 even if the distance of a pair of signal lines is set smaller. <P>SOLUTION: The circuit board 1 comprises an insulator layer 2, a pair of signal wires 30 provided on one surface side of the insulator layer 2 and consisting of a first signal wire 3a and a second signal wire 3b, and a ground layer 6 provided on the other surface side of the insulator layer 2.
