TUNING-FORK TYPE PIEZOELECTRIC VIBRATION PIECE AND PIEZOELECTRIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece with a CI value suppressed low and a piezoelectric device using the tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece.

SOLUTION: A tuning-fork type piezoelectric vibration piece (30) comprises: a basal part (31) formed with piezoelectric material; and a pair of vibrating arms (32) extending in a prescribed direction from the base part. On the front side and the back side of the vibrating arms, formed are a first excitation groove part (33) on the base part side, a second excitation groove part (34) on the tip side of the vibrating arms, and a partition part (35) partitioning the first excitation groove part and the second excitation groove part. The ratio L2/L1 between the length L1 in a prescribed direction from the base part side of the first excitation groove part to the tip of the second excitation groove part and the length L2 in a prescribed direction in the first excitation groove part is 0.51 to 0.65.
