<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to print characters whose font is not registered in a printer without any registration of external characters. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing unit 100 includes obtaining means 1 for obtaining characters, memory means 4 for storing character information for display, detection means 1 for detecting whether or not the characters obtained by the obtaining means are characters stored in a printing part 200, generating means 1 for generating character information for printing from the character information for display stored in the memory means 4 upon detection by the detection means 1 that the characters are not stored in the printing part 200, and output means 1, 16 for outputting the character information for printing generated by the generating means 1 into the printing part 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
