<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling music reproduction suitable for exercises that are done by a user. <P>SOLUTION: Exercise information in response to exercises done by a user is detected by a tempo input operating element to be sequentially transmitted to a main body device. The main body device receives the exercise information transmitted by the tempo input operating element, and, based on each piece of the information received, calculates an exercise tempo that indicates a pace for the exercises done by the user. The main body device stores setting information in which the exercise tempo is set for every kind of exercises and music data corresponding to the every kind of exercises so as to estimate a kind of exercise for the exercises done by the user from the calculated exercise tempo and the setting information.
