<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of easily obtaining a new clock signal for network synchronization from outside without changing the configuration of a whole transmission device. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device comprises: an extension unit for newly accommodating a communication terminal; a transmission unit for performing data transmission between the communication terminal accommodated in the extension unit and a network; and a connection unit for communicatively connect the extension unit with the transmission unit. The transmission unit comprises a control unit for controlling and monitoring the communication terminal and controlling data transmission. The extension unit comprises an external clock receiving unit for receiving a clock signal from outside to synchronize the communication terminal with the network. The connection unit transfers the clock signal received by the external clock receiving unit to the control unit, which synchronizes the communication terminal with the network based on the transferred clock signal to let the communication terminal perform data transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
