<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SPR sensor cell and an SPR sensor with good detection sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: An SPR sensor cell 1 having an optical waveguide 2 which comes in contact with a sample has, on the optical waveguide 2, an underclad layer 3, a core layer 4 provided on the underclad layer 3 so that at least a part of the core layer is exposed from the underclad layer 3, and a metal particle layer 8 covering the core layer 4 exposed from the underclad layer 3 and being in contact with the sample. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
