<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an in-focus state. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an image input means for inputting a subject image formed by an optical system having axial aberration, as an input image; an edge detecting means for detecting an edge for each color component from the input image input by the image input means; a calculation means for calculating difference in the width of blurring between the edges of two color components having axial aberration in the edges for each color components detected by the edge detecting means; and an in-focus state determination means for determining an in-focus state on the basis of the difference in the width of blurring calculated by the calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
