<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that is configured to have a frame body with an opening for disposing a cable so as to reduce light leakage. <P>SOLUTION: An lens barrel 100 has an optical axis X, and comprises an imaging optical system for forming an optical image of a subject. The lens barrel 100 further comprises a second group frame 120 with a peripheral wall part 123 extending in a direction of the optical axis, actuators 210-230 provided in the second group frame 120, and a flexible cable 400 electrically connected to the actuators 210-230. In the peripheral wall part 123, a first opening 124 is formed.
