<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst supporting structure including a photocatalyst layer, an adhesive layer and a carrier, wherein the adhesive layer and the photocatalyst layer are provided on the carrier sequentially, and the adhesive layer contains silica combined in a long and thin shape. <P>SOLUTION: A photocatalyst supporting structure includes a photocatalyst layer, an adhesive layer and a carrier, wherein the adhesive layer and the photocatalyst layer are provided on the carrier sequentially, and the adhesive layer contains silica combined in a long and thin shape.
