PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a position of stenosis with respect to the whole blood vessel, a position of the stenosis with respect to the peripheral direction of the blood vessel, a range of the stenosis, the degree of the stenosis, in an intuitively graspable form. SOLUTION: Based on image data collected by a medical image apparatus, a blood vessel shape is extracted. Based on this, blood vessel information comprising a blood vessel core wire and a plurality of blood vessel contour points on a blood vessel orthogonal cross section orthogonal to the blood vessel core wire is generated. Based on the obtained blood vessel information, twisting of the blood vessel shape is corrected to set the range of the stenosis. A temporary normal blood vessel shape is estimated based on the blood vessel information after correction, and a local stenosis rate in the range of stenosis is calculated using the temporary normal blood vessel and the blood vessel shape.
