<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape pasting device and a tape pasting method which can perform reel replacement work timely and efficiently when pasting an anisotropic conductive tape. <P>SOLUTION: Tape remaining amount wound on a supply reel is calculated by a tape remaining amount calculation part 30a based on rotation angle of the supply reel detected by an encoder 6E and tape feed amount detected by an encoder 11E of a tape feed mechanism 12. And remaining operation time indicating a time period until all of tape member remained in the supply reel is consumed to run out the tape is calculated by a remaining operation time calculation part 30b based on the calculated tape remaining amount, pasting length of a pasting part and a unit operation time required for one pasting behavior.
