PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a nondestructive readout type photoelectric conversion device that the output of a vertical scan or a horizontal scan circuit in its transmission circuit becomes open when unselected and a row signal line connected to the scan circuit and a column signal line serving as an output line of a pixel circuit becomes floating, causing an indeterminate electric potential to occur especially when the row signal line or the column signal line becomes floating, and that, if a residual electric charge or an indeterminate electric potential exists in the readout circuit when an image is read out, it is superimposed as noise on an offset, making appropriate offset correction difficult to achieve.
SOLUTION: A reference voltage is sampled in the sampling capacitance of a nondestructive readout type photoelectric conversion device and simple scanning is exerted inside a readout circuit, whereby a logic voltage and sampled reference voltage are applied as initial potential to a floating part in the readout circuit. That way, the potential of the floating part is fixed in order to stabilize an offset at image readout time, thus making appropriate offset correction possible.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
