摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment mechanism of a position-reading device for a moving object, the device being minimally affected by tolerances of the components and assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A moving-object position-reading device comprises: a position recording part 110 which extends in a moving direction of a moving object and records a position thereof; a position reading part 150 for reading information recorded in the position recording part; a supporting member 120 for supporting the position recording part slidably in a longitudinal direction thereof; an energizing member 160 for energizing the position reading part against the position recording part so that the position reading part faces the position recording part across a predetermined interval; and a guide shaft 130 for guiding the position reading part so that the position reading part moves with a predetermined distance from the position recording part.
