<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size vibration gyro eliminating lowering of sensitivity to angular velocity around the Z-axis and having reduced sensitivity in other axial directions. <P>SOLUTION: This vibration gyro includes a detecting element 1 that is disposed in a space represented by three X, Y and Z axes that are orthogonal to each other and is formed with a Z-axial through-hole on a flat plate that is parallel to the XY plane. The detecting element 1 comprises: a plurality of bending arms 3a-3d having a longitudinal direction in the Y-axis direction; a plurality of connecting parts 4a-4d orthogonally connecting the bending arms; drive means for exciting bending vibration of the bending arms; and detecting means for detecting the bending vibration of the bending arms. A first vibrator for detecting an angular velocity around the Y axis and the Z axis, and a second vibrator for detecting the angular velocity around the X axis are disposed in both sides of a Y-axial center line of the flat plate to detect the angular velocities of three axes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
