<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform control, in a display control unit including a light emission control part capable of independently controlling light emission from a plurality of divisional light emission portions, of the divisional light emission portions so as to inhibit image quality deterioration such as color unevenness even if a change occurs in at least one of a display position and a display area of an object image. <P>SOLUTION: A display control unit independently controls, if it is determined from coordinate information on a display area of a prescribed object image displayed in a display unit that no change occurs in a display position and a display area the object image, light emission from a plurality of divisional light emission portions.
