<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand press tool capable of manufacturing an optimal tool for a purpose of use by mutual action of handles by changing a setting of a projectively installed position of a pivoting pin and a setting of a connecting fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The tool includes: a pair of right and left cutting blades 1, 1; a pair of right and left operation handles, 3, 3 connected to the blades 1, 1 through pivot shafts 2, 2; and a connection pin 4 for mutually connecting the blades 1, 1. The operation handles 3, 3 are arranged in an abutting state on the same flat surface. The opposite surfaces 31, 31 thereof are cum abutting surfaces 32, 32 which are directly abutted, each other. Two connecting fittings 7, 7 for connecting the right and left handles 3, 3 on both surfaces are arranged between the pivot shafts 2, 2 and pivoting pins 6, 6 of the other operation handles 3, 3 in a crossing shape in a tilted manner. Each of upper and lower ends 7a, 7b is connected to the pivot shafts 2, 2 and the pivoting pins 6, 6.
