PURPOSE: An ultraviolet-curable ink composition for gravure printing is provided to improve ink transition to printing object, and to improve scratch resistance, surface hardness, adhesion, solvent resistance, and impact resistance by organic combining relation of elements. CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet-curable ink composition comprises an oligomer, a monomer, a photoinitiator, pigment, and additives. The oligomer consists of hexafunctional polyester acrylate, bifunctional epoxy acrylate having a bisphenol A group, and chain-type bifunctional polyester acrylate. The monomer consists of 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate, trimethylolpropane triacrylate, and an octyl/'decyl acrylate mixture, and has viscosity of 150±50 cp at 25 °C. |
