PEPPER PATHOGENESIS-RELATED PROTEIN 4B GENE AND SCREENING METHOD OF PLANT DISEASE RESISTANCE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A pepper pathogenesis-related protein 4b(CaPR4b) and an antifungal agent using the same are provided to be used as a material and antifungal agent for breeding disease resistant plant. CONSTITUTION: A gene(CaPR4b) encoding pepper pathogenesis-related protein 4b contains: a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2; or a base of sequence number 1. A method for detecting resistance in a plant comprises a step of isolating mRNA from a plant transformed by a recombinant vector; and a step of identifying difference expression of CaPR4b gene. An antifungal agent against plant pathogen contains CaPR4b as an active ingredient.
