The present invention refers to a native strain of BbPM of Beauveria Bastiana, deposited in a type collection, and the production process for obtaining an effective bioinsecticide against the codling moth (and further pomacea genus) Cydia pomonella, the main plague in apple trees in Mexico. The process is novel and has four steps, the first step referring to the isolation and selection of the strain, the second step referring to the production method using a culture medium based on molasses as a carbon source for growing the fungus, and the third step referring to the obtention of the active ingredient (blastospores-spores and mycelium), while the last step refers to toxicity and effectiveness field tests of the product over the codling moth at recommended doses.
