Zirconium oxide powder is mixed with magnesium oxide powder at weight ratio of 2.5-10:1. Then, mix is heated at 1000-1200C in atmosphere of argon for 1-3 h. Note here that magnesium powder particle size equals 100 mcm while metal content in composite powder varies from 5 to 50 wt %.
