<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance certainty upon acquisition of a protective sheet of an uppermost layer from a sheet stacked body constituted by vertically stacking a plurality of nearly rectangular protective sheets in a flat-laid state. <P>SOLUTION: The protective sheet supply device 1 is configured to obtain the protective sheet A of the uppermost layer from the sheet stacked body B constituted by vertically stacking the plurality of protective sheets A in the flat-laid state, separate the sheet A from the sheet stacked body B, and then, dispose the separated protective sheet A on the surface Ga of a glass substrate G. The device 1 includes: a suction head 11 as sucking means to suck and hold one corner part Ac of the protective sheet A of the uppermost layer from above and raise the sheet A; and a separator 12 which can be inserted/extracted into/from the lower clearance C of the one corner part Ac of the protective sheet A, formed when raised by the suction head 11. When the separator 12 nearly horizontally moves along the end edge Ad continuous to the one corner part Ac of the protective sheet A from a state of being inserted to the lower clearance C, an auxiliary clearance C1 is generated under the end edge Ad of the protective sheet A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
