<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation instructing device which can easily instruct enlargement/reduction of an image and precisely check to what size of an output image a displayed image corresponds, and to provide an image forming device equipped with the operation instructing device, and an operation instructing method. <P>SOLUTION: The operation instructing device includes: a display section for displaying the image; and a detecting section for specifying a corresponding position on the image displayed on the display section by detecting a touched position. When the detecting section detects that at least two points A and B are touched in a partial region of the detecting section, which corresponds to the image, in a state where the image 520 is displayed on the display section, a distance between two points in the image formed on recording paper, which correspond to the two touched points when the image is assumed to be formed on the recording paper, is calculated and it is displayed on a display panel. Thus, an error of an operation instruction such as enlargement and reduction can be suppressed, and wasteful consumption of ink and the recording paper can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
