<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the heat radiation performance and cooling effect of a transformer, adjust leakage inductance of the transformer to any optimal value, and enable the transformer to be mounted in a location having a limited installation space without occupying a large space. <P>SOLUTION: A primary coil is constrained by an insulative primary coil constraining member, and a secondary coil is constrained by an insulative secondary coil constraining member. The primary coil and the secondary coil are positioned so that the height from an inner bottom surface of a connection part of a core to a lower surface of the primary coil becomes different from the height from the inner bottom surface to a lower surface of the secondary coil. Further, the primary coil and the secondary coil are held in the core so as to form gaps between the inner bottom surface and the lower surface of the primary coil and between the inner bottom surface and the lower surface of the secondary coil. A filler fills at least the gaps between the inner bottom surface and the primary coil and between the inner bottom surface and the secondary coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
