<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can easily perform jam processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a device body 2; an image forming part for forming an image on a recording sheet; a paper cassette 6 for accommodating recording sheets supplied to the image forming part; and a re-conveying unit 9 disposed between the image forming part and the paper cassette 6 for conveying the recording sheet on which an image has been formed at the image forming part back to the image forming part. The paper cassette 6 is configured to be drawn to one side of the device body. The re-conveying unit 9 includes a guide part for guiding the recording sheet, and further includes an interlocking mechanism 100 that supports at least one of a conveying roller pair for conveying the recording sheet, projects the re-conveying unit 9 to the side opposite to the one side with respect to the device body 2 interlocking with the movement of the paper cassette 6 that is drawn out to the one side with respect to the device body 2, and exposes at least part of the guide part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
