<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any noise from being generated when a coin is stored in a coin temporary storage mechanism in a coin processor for temporarily storing and returning or storing an input coin. <P>SOLUTION: This coin temporary storage mechanism includes: a guide member for return and a guide member for storage oppositely arranged between a pair of side frames such that the side face of a coin storage part is formed with each end pivotally supported so as to be rotated, and with each free end formed so as to be shaped like a comb inclined inwardly, the free ends which being configured so as to be engaged with each other such that the bottom part of the coin storage part is formed; and regulation members configured to regulate or release the rotation of the guide member for return and the guide member for storage. This coin temporary storage mechanism is configured to rotate either the guide member for return or the guide member for storage by releasing regulation by any regulation member, and to distribute the ejection destinations of stored coins by opening the bottom part of the coin storage part. This coin temporary storage mechanism includes a sound absorbing member and a sound absorbing member support part at the lower side of the guide member for return or the guide member for storage or the both guide members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
