<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a deterioration in the environment of the interior of an elevator car after stool, in an elevator in which a toilet for emergency use is provided in the interior of the elevator car. <P>SOLUTION: A toilet device 1 for the elevator is applied to the elevator that has the toilet for emergency use provided in the interior 13I of the elevator car 13. The toilet device 1 includes a toilet bowl 2, a tank 5, and a suction pump 4. An inner wall 13S of the elevator car 13 of the elevator includes the toilet bowl 2. The tank 5 is provided outside the elevator car 13 to take in excrement discharged into the toilet bowl 2.
