<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm member for a surgical implement, which stably performs an angle change operation at the distal end, largely changes the angle, has high holding rigidity, and is excellently operable, and to provide the surgical implement using the arm member. <P>SOLUTION: The arm member 12 for the surgical implement includes: a cylindrical joint member 16; two semi-circular pipes 17a, 17b for covering the rear end of the joint member; and two pins 18a, 18b connecting the rear end of the joint member to the distal ends of the semi-circular pipes 17a, 17b. The semi-circular pipes 17a, 17b are constituted to be advanced together. Two slide holes are formed at the rear end of the joint member 16, so as to correspond to the respective pin holes of the semi-circular pipes and also to be rotated with respect to the respective pins. The slide holes are formed in a horizontally long square with rounded corners. When one semi-circular pipe 17a is slid with respect to the other semi-circular pipe 17b, the angle of the joint member 16 is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
