<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide converter that implements an improved power resistance between a waveguide body and a ridge. <P>SOLUTION: In a waveguide converter 1 having a first waveguide section 10 and a second, coaxial waveguide section 30, the first waveguide section has a cylindrically formed waveguide body 12 and an impedance adjustment member 13 disposed on an inner circumferential surface 12a of the waveguide body and projecting inward of the waveguide body, and the second waveguide section has a cylindrically formed outer conductor 32 and a central conductor 33 arranged coaxially with the outer conductor and connected to the impedance adjustment member. A portion of the inner circumferential surface of the waveguide body situated in a direction Y1 of projection of a tip portion of the impedance adjustment member is formed into a recessed portion 14 spaced in the direction of projection from the tip portion of the impedance adjustment member beyond a distance viewed in parallel with an axis of the outer conductor from the tip portion of the impedance adjustment member to an inner circumferential surface of the outer conductor situated in the direction of projection of the tip portion of the impedance adjustment member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
