<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of a drive circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A restraining member 61 formed of a resin material is provided between the outer peripheral surface 26c of a stator core 26 and the inner surface 111c of a passage forming part 11c. The restraining member 61 blocks a clearance C1 between the outer bottom surface 41a of a cluster block 41 and the outer peripheral surface 26c of the stator core 26 and a clearance C2 between the cluster block 41 and the inner surface 111c of the passage forming part 11c, and a refrigerant sucked into a suction housing 11 from a suction port 18 is restrained from flowing to the discharge port 14 side.
