<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict a time period of ground displacement in ground where the ground displacement is predicted. <P>SOLUTION: An ion concentration of specified ions in underground water of a district to make a prediction for is continuously measured, and when a change which is a sudden rise of the ion concentration is observed, a rise magnification relative to an average ion concentration observed before the sudden rise is calculated. When the rise magnification is higher than a set magnification set beforehand, it is predicted that occurrence of the ground displacement is highly possible regardless of precipitation after the sudden rise of the ion concentration. When the rise magnification is lower than the set magnification, it is predicted that the occurrence of the ground displacement is highly possible when a precipitation amount larger than a precipitation amount set beforehand is observed after the sudden rise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
