<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element including a copper-containing electrode in which oxidation of a copper is suppressed at the time of calcination and good ohmic contact is obtained, the electrode being formed on a silicon-containing substrate of the element, and to provide a paste composition for electrodes suitable for arranging the element. <P>SOLUTION: The element includes the silicon-containing substrate and the electrode provided on the substrate, where the electrode is a burned product of the paste composition for the electrodes containing copper-containing particles, glass particles, a solvent and a resin, and has a volume resistivity of 1×10<SP POS="POST">-4</SP>Ω cm or less. Moreover, the paste composition for the electrodes is arranged so as to include phosphorus-containing copper alloy particles, tin-containing particles, the glass particles, the solvent, and the resin and to have a viscosity at 25°C in a range of 80 Pa s to 1000 Pa s. Furthermore, the paste composition for the electrodes is arranged so as to include the phosphorus-containing copper alloy particles, the tin-containing particles, the glass particles, the solvent, and the resin, and to have a solid content concentration in a range of 70 mass% to 98 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
